Toei And Nitroplus Team Up For Original Anime Movie Project

An announcement poster placed at Toei Animation’s booth in the Toyko Anime Festival — which starts from March 22nd and ends on March 25th — reveals that Toei Animation and Nitroplus are coming out with an “Original Cinema Project”, titled “Rakuen Tsuihou (楽園追放)”, or loosely translated as Paradise Lost.

The movie will be directed by Mizushima Seiji (Slayers! Next, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mobile Suit Gundam 00) and will be written by Urobuchi Gen (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero). The anime production will be handled by Toei Animation.

An Official Look At Kenshin And Karoru

Feast your eyes on a clearer picture (compared to the blurry magazine shot) of Satoh Takueru’s Himura Kenshin. In addition to this, Oricon Style has also released shots with Takei Emi as Kaoru.

The film adaptation of the popular anime and manga series has just finished filming and is set to be released on 25th August 2012.

I swear this will be even more awesome if they followed the 2nd OVA.
