After 25 hours of game time…

Trails in the Sky is starting to have some PLOT

Finally.

wew

I need sleep.

Finally! A female protagonist who doesn’t wield a staff and has a decent stat gain.
The only thing I find difficult to swallow while playing any Legend of Heroes installment is the slow development and gameplay. I’ve played Tears of Vermillion before and geesuz, I’m not used to waiting for 1 sec just to execute an attack. The EXP gain is also terrible.
(I am a grinder but I’m not M enough to settle for lower than average EXP points)
Unfortunately, Trails in the Sky suffers the same slow ass fights. Although the game itself: graphics, characters, dialogues, maps is ridiculously beautiful, they incorporated too much elements in the battle system that it got…slow and just…slow. (not as slow as ToV though :V)
It’s like playing Grandia and Wild Arms altogether.
It’s a beautiful game. I have only started yesterday and I can say for sure this is going to be one heck of an adventure. If only…the battle….! THE BATTLE.
